AmeriGlas uses
the latest Secure Server Software (SSL) security encryption systems
technology for processing credit card transactions. This
encrypts all your payment information, including the credit card
information, so that is cannot be read as the information travels
over the Internet. Information about your order, including
secure payment information is downloaded from the web site immediately.
To further ensure security, no information is stored on the web site after the order
information has been downloaded for processing.

No
problem, when you finalize your order there are several payment
options - You can place the order and call us with your credit
card information; You can place the order and mail us a
check or money order; Or you can even place the order and
mail it directly to us with your credit card information.
To phone-in payment information or mail-in your order, merely
select the optional payment option at the bottom of the shopping
cart screen before finalizing your order.

Phone-In Orders
Technically,
AmeriGlas does not take orders over the phone. However,
an order can be placed on the web site using the payment option
"Phone-In Payment Info" - merely select this payment
option at the bottom of the shopping cart screen before finalizing
your order. The screen invoice and e-mail confirmation
give instructions on how to call us with your credit card payment
information.

Order Confirmation
When
finalizing an order, the invoice summary screen has a "Print"
option button which allows you to immediately print out a copy
of your order. Additionally, a confirmation of each order
is e-mailed to your e-mail address which was entered in the "Ordered
By" information screen. A 'hard-copy' of the invoice
is also sent with the order shipment and a shipping confirmation
is also e-mailed with the tracking number when the order actually
ships. Please be careful when entering your e-mail address,
as the confirmations are sent to the "Ordered By" e-mail
address on the order from.

Information

When you place an order, we need to know
your name, postal address, e-mail address, ship-to address, phone
number, specific items you are ordering, and credit card number
and expiration date. This allows us to process your order
and to contact you if there are any problems.

do to protect customer information?
When you place orders, all payment information

NO - we do not send
any advertisements, sale fliers, notices, etc. An order
confirmation is sent via e-mail at the time an order is placed
and after the order has shipped, a shipping confirmation is sent
via e-mail. No other e-mail or postal mail is ever sent
unless we have reason to contact you to resolve a specific question
related to filling your order.

USA Shipping & Handling
What shipping
method is used:
AmeriGlas
generally ships via UPS ground - United Parcel Service.
UPS can not deliver to a PO Box, therefore, the Shipping Address
must be a valid street address. However, for credit card processing
purposes, your Ordered By address must match with the
address to which your credit card statements are mailed.
Depending upon the specific size,
weight, and destination, some small packages may be shipped via
US Priority Mail if it is economical and delivery is expected
to be faster than UPS. |

Special boxing
charge for sheet glass orders:
Due to the significant weight of glass,
the special boxing materials used and the time needed to pull
and package glass, a special glass boxing charge of $2.90 for
small sized glass (holds up to 10 small sheets) or $4.90 for
large sized glass (holds up to 10 large sheets) applies to any
order of sheet stained glass. The glass boxing charge does
not apply to pre-packaged "Glass Packs".

Special boxing
charge for came orders:
All
zinc and brass cames are 36" long pieces and must be shipped
in a special box. Due to the special boxing required, there
is a minimum order requirement of at least 8 pieces of any mixture
of zinc or brass came. There is no boxing charge
for orders of 8 or more pieces of any mix of zinc or brass came,
however, a $3.00 boxing charge will apply to any orders for zinc/brass
came which is below the 8 minimum.

Shipping &
Handling to APO's or FPO's
What shipping
method is used:
The
US Post Office will not allow UPS to deliver to a PO box, so
the only delivery method available to ship to APO's and FPO's
is Priority Mail of the US Post Office. The Post Office
is more expensive than UPS and the shipping cost is very dependent
upon the actual weight of a package. Shipping & handling
charges can not be determined until that specific order is actually
packaged and ready for shipment. Additionally, all came
must be shipped coiled, or for non-coilable came, cut down to
3' lengths.
How to determine
Shipping & Handling to APO/FPO's:
When placing an order, please select
the normal UPS ground delivery to USA. The shopping cart
will calculate the normal UPS Shipping & Handling charges.
We will pull and weigh the order to determine the actual charges
to ship via Priority Mail and we will e-mail you the actual
shipping charge information to request your approval of the order
before we finalize it.
The Shopping Cart has a place
for special notes or requests after entering the name and address
information. If you would like, you can enter a note like
"Please calculate the actual shipping charges to ship priority
mail to me and e-mail them to me for my final approval - do not
ship without my final approval". However, even without
such a note, we will e-mail you the actual shipping charge
information to request your approval of the order before we finalize
it.

method is used:
The
only reasonable delivery method available to ship to AK, HI,
PR & VI is Priority Mail of the US Post Office. The
Post Office is more expensive than UPS for the lower 48 states,
but it is less expensive for AK, HI, PR & VI. The shipping
cost is also very dependent upon the actual weight of a package.
Shipping & handling charges can not be determined until
that specific order is actually packaged and ready for shipment.

the appropriate shipping destination for Ak, Hi, Pr or VI.

Canada, Europe, South America, Far East, etc.
What shipping
method is used:
As
a result of the complexity of the various international import
restrictions and import duties, AmeriGlas does not currently
have shipping systems in place to ship outside the USA. We
do however have many customers outside the USA who ship to relatives
or remail services in the USA. However, in these cases,
we are actually shipping to a normal US address and the receiving
party is responsible for forwarding the shipment to it's final
destination and for compliance with the various import restrictions
and import duties. |

Times
AmeriGlas generally ships out
orders within 24 hours of receipt. Orders received by 1:00
pm central time on normal work days will ship out that afternoon.
Orders received after 1:00 pm may ship out on the following business
day, depending upon order volume. Orders received on holidays
or weekends ship out on the next business day. If
there is any problem or question on an order, we will contact
you as soon as possible by e-mail or phone. Below is a

AmeriGlas generally ships via
UPS ground transportation. The normal UPS delivery times
are shown above. Sometimes that may not be fast enough.
We can also ship via UPS 3-day, 2-day or 1-day delivery, however
due to the weight of most orders, the additional shipping costs
to use these air-freight options can be significant. Additionally,
we must determine the exact size, weight and destination of the
shipment for a specific order to determine the express delivery
